REVOLUTION EUROPE
When we started climbing in the mid 90´s, the walls of the few existing climbing gyms where dominated by small crimps and sharp holds. Eventually big ball-shaped holds came up, where you could lay both hands on like the top-outs at Font.
The holds had names. And the biggest of them was named:
THE BOSS. The holds where a shock. They where outrageous, they where absolutely rad.
PUSHER was the first. And PUSHER was a true „REVOLUTION“ for the climbing gymns.
REVOLUTION emerged from PUSHER.
The mastermind behind the brands: Clark Shelk , USA. He was also the first one twenty years ago, to sew foam in shells.
Revolution EU is not a distributor, but an independent production company and sales department. We produce in Germany and dispose worldwide - at a time where many German companies outsource their production facilities to foreign countries. The most important advantages are the quality of the „Made In Germany“ products and the fact, that we can check the production facility personally within hours. We work closely with Revolution USA, especially in the range of development. Our pads are still „Made In USA“ and Clark Shelk is a friend and business partner.
We are no business experts. We are climbers, route setters, route developers, globetrotters. For many years we made climbing holds in the cellars of different climbing gymns. We have an idea of really good holds.
Many, many times we flew off of the highest boulder projects, and we know what it needs to make a really good crash pad. We know that a crash pad is first of all a protection device and not an advertising space.
Many of our friends with whom we regularly go bouldering, are also our customers. So we cannot sell them shit for gold. Even if some marketing professional proudly claims, they can do that.
Our philosophy: you can´t talk something good, what ain´t good
Is our stuff perfect? Nope.
But it´s bloody good.
